In September 2026, GolfFix AI takes another step forward.
The GolfFix team has spent a long time exploring how to analyze your swing in greater depth, help you decide what to work on first, and present results in ways that support real improvement. This update brings that work into GolfFix AI's performance and the roles of our two coaches: the Assistant Coach and the Head Coach.
Faster analysis, more accurate swing insights, and two coaches with clearer areas of expertise. Read on to see what this means for your drills.

Faster, more accurate GolfFix AI
Both coaches get faster, with a bigger boost for the Head Coach.You'll spend less time waiting for analysis results after recording your swing.

Assistant Coach: Analysis will get slightly faster. Depending on your device, you may not notice a significant difference.

Head Coach: After the update, analysis will be up to 40% faster than before. You'll be able to check your results and move on to your next swing sooner.
After the update, the Head Coach will analyze swings up to twice as fast as the Assistant Coach. Get more comprehensive analysis with less waiting.

A more accurate look at your swing.•
Improved club and body joint recognition: GolfFix AI identifies the positions of your club and joints more accurately throughout your swing.

Camera preview guides, now free for everyone
With this update, camera preview guides, previously exclusive to Advanced Plan users, will be free for all users, including those on Basic Plan.
Use the guide lines on the recording screen to check your posture and movement before you start recording.

DTL recording: Check the clubhead's trajectory during the takeaway, your hip position, and your spine angle.

As part of our research, we also considered your feedback that the Assistant Coach's coaching can feel difficult to follow. We've clarified each coach's role to make it easier to find your focus when learning the basics, and to offer broader support when you're ready to fine-tune your swing.

The Head Coach's analysis is becoming even more precise.
The Head Coach already looks beyond your swing axis and weight shift to examine whether your club follows a stable path and how your swing movements flow together.
With this update, more accurate body joint recognition enables more precise analysis of swing issues. Combined with the speed improvements introduced above, this means more accurate results, delivered faster.

Your analysis results and scores may change
The same swing may show a different list of issues.With the improvements in analysis accuracy and the changes to the Assistant Coach's analysis items described above, the same swing may show different issues than before.
If an issue appears that wasn't listed before, you don't need to assume your swing has suddenly developed a new problem. During your drills, work through the areas highlighted by the more accurate GolfFix AI one at a time.
Don't be discouraged if your score is lower.As GolfFix AI examines your swing more accurately and in greater detail, you may receive a lower score than before. This doesn't mean your skills have suddenly declined; it may reflect the updated analysis criteria. Alongside your score, check which areas you can improve.
These changes apply only to new analyses performed after the update. Your previously saved scores and analysis results will stay as they are.
